Officer User Terms
Version 1 · Last updated: July 20, 2026
These Officer User Terms ("User Terms") apply to each individual (an "Officer," "you") whose company (the "Company") has placed them on a monitoring roster with Audit Hound, a service of Teton Group, LLC, powered by EASE Compliance Advisors ("Audit Hound," "we," "us"). By accessing a report, clicking a link in an Audit Hound notice, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these User Terms.
1. What Audit Hound Does
Your Company has engaged Audit Hound to review its and its officers’ publicly available marketing content (including websites, social media profiles and posts, and trade-name usage) against federal and state advertising rules, and to deliver compliance reports and corrective-action notices. Your Company authorized this monitoring and provided your NMLS ID and email address.
2. Reports and Corrective Actions
You may receive reports or notices identifying potential compliance issues with your marketing content, along with the applicable rule, the recommended fix, and a cure window. Your Company determines the consequences of findings and corrections; Audit Hound tracks correction status and reports it to your Company.
3. Not Legal Advice
REPORTS AND NOTICES ARE COMPLIANCE-SUPPORT INFORMATION ONLY. AUDIT HOUND IS NOT A LAW FIRM; REPORTS ARE NOT LEGAL ADVICE; AND NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP EXISTS BETWEEN YOU AND AUDIT HOUND, EASE COMPLIANCE ADVISORS, OR ANY ADVISOR. Consult your own counsel or your Company’s compliance department regarding legal questions.
4. Acceptable Use; Audit Hound Property
You agree to: (a) keep your access credentials (if any) confidential and not share access with anyone; (b) use reports only for your own and your Company’s compliance purposes and not republish, sell, or provide them to any competitor of Audit Hound; (c) not copy, extract, or compile Audit Hound’s rules, citations, findings logic, or report formats, or use them to build or assist a competing product or service; (d) not interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service; and (e) not submit unlawful content through the service. Audit Hound’s rulebooks, methodologies, and report formats are its trade secrets and remain its exclusive property.
5. Your Information
Audit Hound processes your NMLS ID, contact information, public licensing records, and publicly available marketing content to provide the service, as described in the Audit Hound Privacy Policy at https://audit-hound.ai/legal/privacy. Questions about why you are on a roster should be directed to your Company.
6. Disclaimers; Liability
THE SERVICE AND REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUDIT HOUND DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND IS NOT LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY EMPLOYMENT, LICENSING, OR REGULATORY CONSEQUENCE ARISING FROM FINDINGS OR YOUR COMPANY’S USE OF REPORTS. AUDIT HOUND’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
7. General
These User Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Audit Hound may update these User Terms by posting a revised version; material changes will be noticed by email or in-service notice. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. These User Terms do not create any employment or agency relationship, and do not give you any rights under your Company’s subscription agreement.
