Website compliance for mortgage companies and loan officers.

Audit Hound crawls your company and loan officer websites and checks every required disclosure against federal rules and each state's specific website requirements.

The rulebook

What we review on the web

A full crawl of the company site and loan officer pages, following the compliance-critical pages: licensing, disclosures, privacy.
The complete rulebook applied to each page. The required marketing and licensing elements, plus the federal and per-state advertising regulations.
Per-state website disclaimer requirements for all 50 states plus DC. For every state a company is licensed in, we verify the required on-site elements (license number lines, approved company name, the state regulator block) and the required disclaimer language word for word where a state mandates it, for example the Texas complaint and recovery fund notice, and the New York and Illinois notices.
NMLS Consumer Access link present and pointing at the correct record.
Equal Housing Opportunity logo or statement.
Licensed-state accuracy. The states the site claims versus the actual NMLS record. We catch a site advertising states the company is not licensed in.
Trade name and legal name consistency across the site.
Hot-button issues currently drawing regulator attention.
The anatomy

Where the checks live on a real page

Every page gets the same walk: the header, the body claims, and the footer where most of the required elements live, and where most of the findings do too.

A website finding, down to the link target

From High to Low severity, every deficiency is documented with the rule and the fix, even a misdirected NMLS Consumer Access link. Fictional sample below.

"Montana-licensed officer site links NMLS Consumer Access to the portal homepage rather than the officer's record."

NMLS CONSUMER ACCESS LINK SPECIFICITY

Condition
The site links to NMLS Consumer Access but points to the portal home page, not the company's or officer's specific record, and does not show the sponsoring licensee's name and NMLS ID on the officer's separate site.
Criteria
The NMLS Consumer Access link must route to the company's or individual's specific NMLS record. A loan officer's separate site must display the sponsoring licensee's name and NMLS ID.
Corrective action
Point the link to the specific NMLS record and add the sponsoring licensee's name and NMLS ID to the officer's site.

Beyond the pages you send

We review the whole site, not just the pages you send us

Audit Hound crawls your entire company and loan officer websites, follows the internal links, chases down the compliance-critical pages, and surfaces the connected properties they link to.

Forgotten landing pages, orphaned officer pages, and linked profiles nobody flagged still get reviewed, because the gaps regulators find are usually the pages nobody was watching.

Evidence included

Reports show the evidence

Each finding cites the rule, quotes the exact page text or missing element, and captures the page, in an examiner-ready PDF.
